Around Philadelphia 11/26/2017

After Christina and I finished at the Academy of Natural Sciences, we decided to walk from 19th and the Ben Franklin Parkway to 8th and South, where the vegan restaurant was located. It took us about 45 minutes to walk the 20 blocks, but we noticed a lot of interesting sites on the way. One site was this cat statue that was bolted to a telephone pole. Why? No explanation needed. It was cool to see, though.

I am not a vegan, but since Christina ate halal food with me in the past, I wanted to show support to her. I can't have soy for health reasons, so I ordered vegan sushi without the tofu. It was delicious! I also had chickpea soup, which was pretty good. I preferred the sushi, though.

On our way to the Market-Frankfort Line, I noticed Repo Records had a metal head Grinch cut out displayed in the window. I had to get a selfie.

Christina and I had a nice day out last Sunday.
