Ice Skating in the Snow 12/15/2017

Yesterday we had our third snowfall in a week. I decided that I would still go ice skating despite the snow. It was perfect and a lot of fun! This was my first time skating in a snowstorm and I would gladly do it again.

Elfreth's Alley Wanderings 12/10/2017

Last Sunday after I finished my skate session, I decided to venture into Elfreth's Alley. I wanted to see how they decorated for the holiday. On my way to Elfreth's Alley, I noticed the one house I discovered over the summer still had their Canadian flag hanging. I wanted to get closer and noticed other homes in the area had foreign flags. I had a great time taking pictures of these flags. Of course, the way the homes were decorated were pretty too.

Elfreth's Alley was beautiful as usual! Maybe next weekend I might take a holiday tour. :)

Thankful Thursday: December 14, 2017

Today I am thankful that ice skating season started again. On Sunday I was flying thanks to the ice walker. That is what the contraption is called. I am thankful that the river rink allows people of all ages to rent the ice walker. It helps.

I am also thankful for my parents and friends. On Tuesday evening, Ms. Voula, a library co-worker, gave me a beautiful gift. I wrapped it up and put it in my happiness box. I can't wait to hang it up.

What are you thankful for?
