Repo Records Grand Reopening 10/27/2017

On Friday evening after the art museum Halloween party, I decided to go to Repo Records' grand reopening. I wanted to see bands perform for free and well, I love Repo Records!

Before I headed to Repo Records, I decided to try Smokes Poutinerie. I was on South Street earlier in the afternoon to donate clothes to a thrift store and their sign intrigued me. I decided I would eat there. I am glad I did - the veggie poutine was good!

Lunacy and the little bit of Gondola I saw during Repo Records' grand reopening were amazing! I loved the performances and I'm glad I went. I talked to some others in attendance and met Laura, a young woman dressed in an awesome Pusheen costume. I had to get a picture with her.

  1. Hi, Jessica Marie!

I never heard of nor have I ever tasted Poutine. I read that it is a dish from Quebec originally made from French fries and cheese curds topped with a brown gravy. You apparently ordered a veggie variation, and that is what I would also prefer.

Repo Records does look and sound like a cool place. You were lucky to catch two bands there. The chartreuse and blue lighting created the perfect atmosphere. I like how you decorated your face for H-ween.

Have a great week, dear friend JM!

    1. Hi, Shady!

It was pretty good and it was filling. When I was in Canada and went a halal restaurant, they had duck poutine. Unfortunately, I didn't try it. I'd try duck.

I love Repo Records! Their old shop was really cool, and their new spot is cool too. They expanded and I'm happy for them! Thank you!

Have a great week and Halloween, dear friend!
