Baltimore 2017 Highlights

I spent yesterday in Baltimore - it was my first (and only) overnight trip of 2017. The Blue Jays were in Baltimore and I wanted to see my Jays. I had an amazing time in Baltimore, despite the rain. I saw new sights - the Edgar Allen Poe house and burial site, as well as graffiti alley, and old sights - the Civil War museum. I was soaked by the time I made it to the air bnb I was staying in.

I had such a great experience with air bnb - I was staying in a classic Baltimore row home and the host was warm and welcoming. He invited me to watch football with him and his friends; I watched the games with them until 5 PM when I had to leave for dinner before the game. I loved talking to my host's one friend and I will admit that I spent most of the time chatting with him, he was nice.

I'm exhausted, I had a busy day yesterday and this morning, I also slept only 5 hours last night. I will have other entries over the course of the week. I just love Baltimore and want to share my adventures with you.

  1. Hi, Jessica Marie!

Mrs. Shady lived in the Baltimore area for a few years and her dad owned a Baltimore restaurant. She loves the city and visits whenever she gets the chance. I visited Baltimore several times in my life. When I was young my family went to the Baltimore zoo nearly every year. I visited the Poe house when I was in scouting, saw an Orioles game on another occasion and visited Inner Harbor during adulthood. It makes me happy to know you like Baltimore, too, had such a great time staying at an air bnb and encountered friendly folks there.

Have a wonderful week, dear friend JM!
