Philadelphia Lantern Festival

Every year from May until June, China Town runs a lantern festival in Franklin Square Park. Every year we seem to miss it, but I wanted to go this year to check out the Philadelphia Lantern Festival. A few times when I took Lyft home, we passed by and it looked wonderful from the road, I wanted to see it for myself.

It was $17 to enter, but the sights were amazing. Despite the rain, we all enjoyed looking at the different illuminated pieces of art. I also loved hearing the music.

  1. Hi, Jessica Marie!

Based on this awesome post of yours, I would absolutely love to see Philadelphia's Chinese Lantern Festival up close. How lucky you were to be able to attend. You snapped many great pictures, too. There is something magical about the glow of lanterns at night. Thank you for taking me along with you to this colorful event!

I hope your dad had a nice Father's Day and I hope you have a safe and happy week ahead, dear friend JM!
