Post Malone - Stoney

Last month I bought Post Malone's Stoney cassette from Urban Outfitters. I listened to it a few times before putting the cassette into my happiness box. Let me tell you, Stoney was a great album to walk/work out to. It had a chill vibe, but it was great for walking and swinging.

I discovered Post Malone last summer when MTVU played "Go Flex" on their evening programming. I bought the song before going to Asbury Park and it was one of my theme songs for Asbury Park. Unfortunately, I didn't listen to much Post Malone after "Go Flex". That changed when I saw the cassette was on sale for $8 and I had to get it.

Here are my favorite songs from Stoney:

I would definitely recommend Post Malone. He's one of my guilty pleasures and we actually share a birthday. See, people born on July 4th are destined for greatness.

  1. Hi, Jessica Marie!

Post Malone has a smooth voice and, as a rapper, lots of street cred. I really enjoyed listening to this selection of his songs. You shouldn't consider your love of rap a guilty pleasure. Now in my late 60s, I am proud of my love of rap and metal. It's a sign of being open minded. :)

Thanks again for sharing Malone's music, dear friend JM!

    1. Hi, Shady!

Yes, I love his voice! I also love his style and I sort of have a little crush on him. ;)

That's true! I listen to a myriad of genres and I guess that is why I can fit in among many groups of people. It is being open-minded. :)

You're welcome, Shady! I hope you do check out Stoney!
