Record Store Day with the Posers

After selling some CDs at Noise Pollution and checking out some cassettes at Vinyl Altar, I decided to head back to Repo Records to apologize to the guy I hassled when he said Repo Records wasn't buying CDs on Record Store Day. He wasn't there, but I saw a local band was performing. They were called the Posers.

I thought they were amazing. They reminded me of a cross between the Sex Pistols and Rancid. Maybe throw in the Gits and Distillers. Let me share some videos I took:

They were even gracious about getting a picture with me after. :) I like Roro, he's the one with the curly haired mohawk. He's sorta cute.

  1. Hi, Jessica Marie!

One of my favorite things to do is visit record stores. I used to worship at the vinyl altar for hours at a time, sweat dripping from my head as I combed the bins for bargains and treasures. Your Record Store Day turned out to be a blast when your encountered The Posers. I like their look and sound and wonder if they derived their name from the New Wave punk rock band The Pretenders fronted by Chrissie Hynde.

Thanks for the cool entertainment, dear friend JM!

    1. Hi Shady!

Hmmm, I never thought about that. I was thinking of a young adult book I finished a few months ago called the Haters. But, you're probably right.

I enjoyed them and want to see if they have any CDs.

      You're welcome, dear friend!
