Thankful Thursday 12/22/2016

It's hard to believe that Hanukkah is in two days, Christmas is in three days, and next week is the last week of 2016!

I'm at work this week, but I am off next week for vacation. I'm looking forward to it. My dad is off for the next two weeks for vacation. Yet despite this, he's been taking me to the train station in the morning. I am thankful for that and I am thankful for dad. I'm thankful for the things we did this year, including going to West Chester University's homecoming. I love dad.

I'm also thankful for mom. She's treating me to a Swedish massage after the holidays. Last week she took me to the train when the weather was frigid. I am thankful for that too. Thankful for the events she and dad accompanied me on this year.

On Monday I received a gift from my Swedish friend. I'm not opening the gift up until Christmas since he can't open his gift until Christmas. I am thankful for my friend thinking of me and his friendship.

My pen pal in Saudi Arabia also received his card I sent him yesterday. I'm thankful for his friendship and the travel photos he sent me over the course of the year. He allowed me to use some of his photos for my book.

What are you thankful for?

  1. Hi, Jessica Marie!

I am thankful to have a cool friend like you. I admire you for accepting all kinds of people as friends, people all over the world, male and female, people of all ages including me. Open minded people like you are getting scarce and the world needs more like you.

Enjoy your post-Christmas vacation, dear friend JM!
