Halloween Cubicle Decorations

With only three weeks away from Halloween, I've been debating how to decorate my cubicle at the full-time job. I did buy this at Michaels yesterday:

I also bought spiders and cheese cloth for the web, but thinking about it, the cheese cloth might not work as webbing. I'll make ghosts instead! However, it leaves me with space for this shelf:

The cheese cloth is 6 feet long; I won't need all of that for ghosts. I've thought about using it to create a creepy scene on the shelf, but I wasn't sure what. I decided to look on Pinterest and came liked these ideas:

This is my favorite.

This could be fun! I could also edit pictures and make them appear creepy and rustic.

How do you decorate for work? I'm opened to any ideas! I will be shopping around tomorrow so I can decorate on Monday!

  1. Hi, Jessica Marie!

It looks like you spooked up some great Halloween decorating ideas. I like the outline of the dead body on the floor, the skeleton occupying a chair in a cubicle, Edgar Allan Poe's The Raven, and especially the idea you favored, the ghosts inside a mason jar flanked by pumpkins. It's compact yet effective as well as very attractive. I can't wait to see the pictures of your work space with all of your decorations in place.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend, dear friend JM!

    1. Hi Shady!

Because of money constraints this year, I'll probably only do the E.A. Poe idea because I already have most of those things. I might get webbing for spiders, as I bought the spiders. I think spiders are pretty Poe-ish. I do want to make that mason jar, though!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend too, dear friend Shady!

  2. I'm not sure if I prefer the mugshots or the crime scene - both are highly creative! And you know, the people in the mugshots could have "committed" the crime scene display. ;)

    1. So true! I went shopping today - I will post what I came up with when I get it set up at work. :)
