Ever since I was a little girl, I always had parties before my actual birthday. Mind you I didn't have parties very often, but when I did... we always planned them right after school let out and before people went on vacation. In 2009 I turned 20 and decided to have a party with high school and a few college friends. It had been a year since I graduated from high school and wanted a get together with my old high school friends. I decided to extend it to college pals as well, but only high school friends came.

One of dad's Muslim friends owns a chicken joint and he gave us chicken. We then made other finger foods and cake. For activities, we tie-dyed some shirts, played games, listened to music and chatted. I gave them all party favors and we had a blast. This party was held on June 20, 2009.

Joyce and I had a cake fight. What fun.

That describes our friendship.I'm still giggling.

I'm sure that you notice that in every picture I am hugging my friends. I'm sure you notice now that I hug a lot of people in general - I am a very hugging person. If I am thankful/grateful for something, I will thank them and give them a big hug. That is my personality. One of my coworkers at the full time job gave me a card yesterday and I gave her a big hug when I thanked her. I was appreciative. :) Here is the card:

Tomorrow mom and I are going into Philadelphia and having a linner (or lunch/dinner) at Cedar's. This is my early birthday celebration. Monday, on the actual day, we're having dinner here and cake. I can't believe my birthday is two days away. It feels like yesterday that I was turning 26!
