Crockpot Moroccan Chicken Recipe

Two weeks ago I made crockpot Moroccan chicken. It turned out really well and I want to share the recipe with you. It's from a clean eating recipe website.

Clean Eating Slow Cooker Cinnamon Chicken

(Makes approximately 20 servings)

Ingredients:

5 raw, skinless, boneless chicken breasts (approximately 2 pounds)
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
1 (15 ounce) can light coconut milk
1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
6 medium carrots, peeled and sliced thin
Directions:

Place the sliced carrots in the bottom of the slow cooker’s ceramic insert.
Place your raw chicken on top of that.
Put everything else on top and turn on the pot.
Cook on low for 4-6 hours, or until the chicken easily falls apart when poked at with a fork. (Internal temperature should be a minimum of 165 degrees F.)

  1. That looks good. I think Willy Dunne Wooters would like it, though he would put all the carrots in my bowl or plate. When we get chicken noodle soup with carrots, he spoons out the carrots and gives them to me. It isn't the carrots. It's that he won't eat vegetables mixed with anything else. Considering all the bad habits a person can have, refusing to eat vegetables mixed with another food is not so bad.

      I think Willy Dunne Wooters would enjoy this dish! My dad thought it smelled good when I warmed it up when they returned home from the cruise. I loved how easy it was too. :)
