Today mom, dad, and I went to the Movie Tavern to see Minions. It was such a great movie and I laughed through the entire movie. I loved both Despicable Me movies and I thought Minions was the perfect prequel to Despicable Me. The fact that the creators used 60's music such as Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, Rolling Stones, and Beatles was even better. I would recommend it!

Also, if there is a Movie Tavern in your area, you can get a Ba-Na-Na-Na Schmoothie, which is made in homage of the minions. It's a banana smoothie mixed with vanilla milkshake, cookie crumbles, and a cherry. It was so good.

  1. Hi, Jessica Marie! Old and out of the loop, I was not familiar with Minions or the Despicable Me franchise. I needed to Google it. I was surprised to learn that Villain-Con was held practically in my back yard (in Orlando). Sorry I missed it! :) With computer-animated characters played by A list actors like Sandra Bullock, Jon Hamm and Michael Keaton and a 60s classic rock soundtrack, it seems like Minions is a movie that I would enjoy. I never heard of Movie Tavern and needed to Wiki them. They have locations in Texas and Georgia but have not yet come to Florida. We have Mugs & Movies down here but clearly Movie Tavern is a cut above. I hope one opens near us soon.

Have an excellent week, dear friend Jessica Marie!

    1. Hi Shady! Darn, but I missed Villain-Con too. Such a shame, really. :( It did look like a grand old time.

I would recommend the Despicable Me movies. They're great. The Minions are just too funny. They're supposed to be the bad guys, but they end up doing good instead.

Hmmm... Mugs & Movies sounds like an interesting place! I might have to Wiki them. :)

Have an excellent week as well, Shady!

  2. I like your smoothie/milkshake; sounds tasty. :)

    1. It was so good! It was also a good movie!
