Saint Patrick's Day Piercing

Happy Saint Patrick's Day, readers! Nothing too exciting about mine (I have a splitting headache), but I did have the corned beef and cabbage mom made! Although this year wasn't too exciting, I remember 2012 like yesterday. On the day before Saint Patrick's Day, I had my rook pierced - I treated myself to a Saint Patrick's Day piercing!

Kyle, my piercer, and I after the piercing.
(I had more pictures from getting pierced that day, but they were on Facebook...
...maybe I'll save them if I decide to resurrect my Facebook.)

Although this doesn't show the rook, I like this picture.

Piercing Limerick

There was a young lady looking to get pierced,
who didn't care if the pain was too fierce.
When she stepped into the piercing shop,
breathe in, breathe out; don't let this adrenaline stop!
The technician laughed - she was a tough like Pearce.

This refers to when the piercer referred to me as a war horse because I didn't cringe or feel too much pain when I was getting pierced. Meh, it doesn't phase me.

Saint Patrick's Day Limerick

There once was a leprechaun named Bill
who said bees hanging by Shamrocks can kill.
To his dismay, he found a bee;
"It's March! A bee I shouldn't see!"
He then became very anxious and ill.

  1. I was reading your post in my reader, and had to look up rook. I had no idea what that was.

    1. Haha, yeah; most people don't. I love getting pierced. Surprisingly, it wasn't painful. I thought the industrial piercing was slightly more painful. I handled it though. :D
