Jazz In Town at the Upper Merion Township Library: Stephen Wise and the Edge

Every year the Upper Merion Township Library holds a jazz night. Financed through the Robert and Shirley Fine Endowment, light refreshments and finger foods are provided for the evening as residents of Upper Merion Township come together to enjoy a night of jazz.

Yesterday was rainy and damp, but it didn't stop people from coming out to see Stephen Wise and his band, the Edge, perform. Stephen Wise and the Edge performed for the late Nelson Mandella's release in Los Angeles to honor Mr. Mandella in 1990. He has also performed for other celebrities and other prominent people.

Although I didn't stay for the entire three hours, the hour and a half that I watched of Mr. Wise's performance was amazing. Soulful and smooth, he and his band put on a great show with great music. Playing music from all over the world, his entertainment appealed to everyone and brightened up a bleak night. Please check out his site: Stephen Wise Entertainment.

    1. I would love to learn how to play! I used to play the trumpet... but that was tricky. Ah the things you learn when in 4th grade. :D

  2. Sounds good from your video. What was the name of the song in your clip, if you know?
