Green Lane Park | Green Lane, Pennsylvania | Montgomery County

Today my parents and me went to Green Lane Park in Green Lane, Pennsylvania. Green Lane is in the upper part of Montgomery County (county I live in) and is about an hour/hour and a half from the Poconos. It's a nice area and I would say it's more rural than King of Prussia (and the surrounding Philadelphia suburbs). It was nice when we were there: low 70s and some sunshine. We were sad that the leaves didn't change colours more up there, but probably in a few weeks. It was still pretty and I took some pictures of the lake and around the trail.

I wanted this picture to recreate the picture dad and I had taken at Green Lane Park in 1999 (I have to get a better picture of it with my DSLR instead of the camera phone):

I took a video to capture the sounds we heard today, sadly the video recorder didn't pick up all the rich sounds!

Check out the album! Green Lane Park 2014.

  1. That's a nice pic of you and your dad.
I used to live in Montgomery County, Maryland, from age 3 to age 9.

    1. I think there are Montgomery Counties everywhere. I remember when I was on Facebook, I liked "Montgomery County ASPCA." I thought it was Montgomery County, PA's ASPCA, but it was for Maryland. Oops!

I don't think I've ever been to Montgomery County, MD... but I'm sure it's pretty. :)

  2. I agree with Susie; that is a nice picture of you and your father. I also like the horses picture.
