Summer Mix 2013- Tracks 4-6

I'm usually not a fan of "new" music, but I found this video the other day when I was watching a Fleetwood Mac video and this was suggested for some reason. It's a dumb song (and suggests something I don't like), but it's catchy. Because of the catchiness, I'm naming this a summer song because it's so catchy and it reminds me of some people in my past.

I love this song. I remember when Marsha made a mix for me in 2011, I couldn't stop listening to this song. Sometimes I feel like Rhiannon and that's why the song appeals to me so much.

Kittie was the first female metal band I was introduced to by Anna. I just love rocking out to them and will always love their album "Spit."

  1. So why are these 4-6? How big do you intend this mix to be?

    1. Just random. I don't have a CD burner anymore since I'm borrowing a laptop, so it's not as carefully planned as I was going to burn a CD. There will be 12 songs.

    2. All right!

I watched Monsters University with my sister tonight. It was cute. Its message was you don't need to go to college to be someone.

Victoria told me bad things about the friend I'd invited for tea. Oh well - she doesn't have to be in the same place.

    3. I agree with that message. I don't know, if I could go back, I wouldn't have let mom pressure me and would have worked first.

    4. There are myriads of pressure points affecting all of us. At least you have clearly identified one of the biggest for you. My parents push music, too, but naturally (they are both private music instructors - mother piano and father violin and viola) - if they did not, I would not be able to afford University - they helped me pay for the Guizhou University courses. GU offered three and ran two - the one that was axed was an international writing course, as the people who ended up going were more interested in China and speaking Chinese than everywhere and communicating with everyone. It's not that certain other places are dumb or anything, it's more that all of the China-bound wanted to study China.

  2. The Fleetwood Mac song was good and I like the songs I've heard so far from Kreayshawn. :)

    1. This was the only Kreayshawn song I liked, haha. My parents are big Fleetwood Mac fans, and they have some pretty good music.
