Am I a good Facebook friend?

Today I noticed that Casey Matthews, Clay Matthews' brother, deleted me off of Facebook. He plays for the Eagles (my least favorite team... I was friends with him before he was signed). In my hot flares (which I'm still not sure if it's bipolar or my thyroid... all I know from time to time I flare up really bad) I said really bad things about the Philadelphia sports teams, but he was friends with me after that (last I checked it was February and I was still added, and I haven't really said anything since November). However, I have these flare up in the Summer and this weekend I was struggling and stopped myself from posting really angry things. Maybe his account is now ran by a media specialist and I was deleted because they didn't know me? I dunno. But, my questions to you, dear readers who are my Facebook friends, do I post too much? Am I annoying? The owners of the Lincoln Room love reading my stuff and said they live vicariously through my adventures. I guess I just want to make it more professional and show case my writing, photography and posts I find important from other sites. Is that annoying?

  1. No, I don't find you annoying on Facebook; to be blunt, you occasionally post stuff I disagree with but that doesn't make you annoying and I wouldn't unfriend you for it! (You also shouldn't have to change to accomodate one person!)

Just like everyone else, you are free to post about your works on FB and anything else that interests you; people often post a lot of junk on there and much of what you post is interesting rather than random nonsense! You never post anything hateful or threatening or attacking so I don't see any problems with what you do there.

    1. Thanks Andrew. I usually monitor things I post -- as nan used to say, "don't talk about religion, money or politics in polite conversation because it'll start a fight." I made that mistake a few times during the election and the back lash. Some of my friends still do it despite it all, but I don't feel like getting into a fight about it.

The people that seem to delete me are either people from my high school (which I didn't really get along with... I think I was ahead of my time and mostly mature) or my early college friends. I'm not sure why they don't like me now, they never really said. Although, I suppose it's not entirely my business why.

    2. You're welcome...and I assure you that I was being as objective as possible rather than lying to you by saying something nice just to make you feel better!

So, simply put, yes, I think you're a good Facebook friend and a good friend overall. :) (We've almost known each other for two years!)

    3. I know! Isn't that amazing? The years certainly have flown. :)

I'm feeling rather depressed right now.
