Drowning Glass

Drowning Glass
Jessica Marie

She drowns herself
in the transparent crystal,
she drowns herself
in tears and agitation;
the world lies to her,
this mirror is truthful--
she drowns herself
in her fat curves,
big breasts, swollen.
She drowns herself
in her sorrow--
she is no longer young.
She drowns herself
every morning
in the transparent crystal,
forgetting life and loved ones.
She drowns herself
in her screams and tears.

  1. A sad, yet beautiful poem, Jessica. I liked your guitar playing, too. :)

  2. I'm thinking of posting weekly my playing and that way people can see me improve.

Thank you. I spent all night last night planning it, lol. As we talked about on Facebook, sometimes I feel this way.
