Tebowmania

Tim Tebow: A Polarizing Figure

“I like Tim Tebow,” I say to my dad after the devastating loss against the New England Patriots in January.

“You do?” He looks a combination of shocked and disgusted. Of course, I am a Packers fan and will bleed green and gold for life, but there is something about Tebow that I like. Maybe it’s his cuteness (okay, it’s not that… not that shallow) or his conviction to his faith regardless of the naysayers. It just is: I like Tebow.

Sadly, the Broncos don’t seem to agree as Tebow was traded this week. The following links follow the tale of Tebow’s sports and religious journey:

Regardless, I won a bid on a Tim Tebow Broncos jersey for $30! ^_^

The jersey I won.

  1. That's awesome a jersey for only $30, and I'll agree I like Tebow as well, because not only is he a decent football player but he's an even better person

    1. My dad and my one friend still look at me like I'm crazy.

I found a Favre Packers jersey for $18. I think I'm going to have to purchase it, lol.

      Thank you for commenting. :)

  2. IT IS NOT SHALLOW TO MENTION A GOOD APPEARANCE

I will speak with you more about this in the future.

    2. I will reveal to you those whom I'm interested in when we speak in person :P probably not next time, because I need to figure that out a bit better xD but at a time when we are on the bus together! Likely riding in to WCU so it can't be MWRF because I tend to ride in with Father on those days - maybe if we ride the same bus on Tuesday morning! Please contact me Tuesday morning and give me an idea of when the bus you are on comes by my neighbourhood. This can be accomplished by texting me when you pass my stop next Tuesday so then I could attempt to catch it the week afterwards.

Next week is the UN's "Women's Week of Action" :D Gynoerights! I hope desperately my period will have completed sufficiently by then - not so much due to the moodiness or w/e as due to wishing to save the remainder of these pads until my birthmonth. They're so much better than any of the pads I've ever had. (Although it's true I have been changing it more than I had the previous years - previously just at showertime, currently when I wake up in the morning, mid-afternoon, shower, and bed-time - I BLEED SO MUCH JESSICA IT'S RIDICULOUS)

I am ultimately most concerned I make a terrifying figure to express interest of pursuing. I am of the opinion I tend to appear obsessed with academia and success.

/sorry to sound so self-centred, but I'm trying to figure myself out too

    3. I don't think my bus passes by your stop anymore. :( But maybe in the following week we can do lunch.

No worries, as I said to Sean, I think I am in my quarter life crisis. It's very possible. I tend to talk about my illnesses too much because I feel it is only fair to let the people know so they can back out early if need be.

    4. According to SEPTA, yours comes within walking distance: http://airs1.septa.org/bin/query.exe/en?seqnr=1&ident=77.0265071.1332555436&OK#focus

The one that is delineated by "No Sign". See? Looking at the Detailed View, the Comments signify it is the one headed to the Exton Square Mall, whereas the one with a well-defined stop is the one that is headed to King of Prussia.

    5. To Respond to the Part About Sean, do you really only estimate your life to last for 66 more years? :( I'm expecting 80 for a bit past a century. After all, there are 300-450 supercentenarians; I predict that number to climb sharply within the next couple of years.

  3. I like Tim Tebow too. Lots of people hate on him because of him praying all the time but you know, there are tons of football players that are jerks all the time and play unfairly all the time and no one says anything. I'm glad Tebow isn't afraid to share his faith. That's awesome you won a jersey for that price!

    1. It comes by Tuesday. ^_^ I'm going to wear it next week.

I 100% agree. I'm glad most of the players of the Packers are a bunch of kind-hearted guys. It's rare nowadays in the NFL or any sport.

  4. Tebow gained my respect out of his ability to stay strong in his faith even when a whole mess of people around him are putting him down. I think he's a great guy. I'm glad to see that someone with as big of a reputation as him can be a genuine person regardless of the negativity.
